About the Event
In this webinar, the team from Centre for Mindfulness will converse with Chris Ruane who has served as MP in the UK parliament since 1997.Â
Chris was responsible  for implementing mindfulness training for British Members of Parliament, peers and their staff since 2013. In 2014, he co-established the Mindfulness All Party Parliamentary Group (MAPPG), a cross party group dedicated to developing public policy on mindfulness  in health, education, criminal justice and the workplace and was active in producing and publicising two reports: Mindful Nation UK report and Mindfulness in the Workplace and now co-chairs the MAPPG. He is also working with mindfulness advocates in over 40  different countries who wish to take mindfulness to their legislatures. This conversation will be an opportunity to learn more about his groundbreaking work.Â
